  39. There is nothing inherent to GPFax that supports Voice Mail.  However, if you
  40. have other Voice Mail software, I'm sure that you could convince GPFax to
  41. work in tandem with it for full Voice Mail / Fax support.  GPFax has an
  42. "adaptive answer" mode which will allow voice calls through an external
  43. device, while still intercepting fax calls.  This mode does not support data
  44. mode (ie BBS calls) but this may also be possible through some creative ARexx
  45. scripting.

  54. Thanks for the feed back. This new Cardinal V.34 VoiceFax modem has worked
  55. flawlessly since I hooked it up. Priced well below that of a USR with less
  56. features and this comes with limited lifetime warranty and a customer FAX
  57. line with next day response. Haven't tried the support BBS or Voice tech
  58. support line.  I checked it out to see if they knew anything
  59. about AMIGAs and compatibility with Amiga voice software. NOT!

  61. Easier than PC PnP to get going! Didn't have to change a
  62. thing on my present terminal config from the Supra 2400Plus V.42bis.
  63. Except for BAUD 9600 to 11500.

  65. Throughput is clocked at 11500 ARQ on AMUC BBS and carrier 28800. I thought
  66. I might have overrun problems that I see discussed elsewhere. Just thought
  67. it would be nice to get the Voice and Fax features up and running.
